Mission Statement

Truth, Accountability in Action, Not Just Words

One of the primary objectives of this website is the pursuit and presentation of verifiable truth. Assertions are easily made; substantiation is not.

Residents of Flagler County continue to encounter significant difficulties arising from insufficient transparency and limited accountability in governmental decision-making. As a result, citizens increasingly find themselves compelled to acquire not only general awareness but a working expertise in matters traditionally entrusted to elected officials and the individuals appointed to administer the functions of city and/or county governance.

Numerous residents have addressed these issues publicly—speaking at council meetings, submitting written correspondence, and engaging directly with council members and staff. Despite these efforts, many have experienced disregard, deflection, or, in some cases, improper treatment including blame, mischaracterization, and/or public disparagement.

The purposes of this website are:

  1. To create a comprehensive record of relevant events, actions, and decisions, thereby providing residents with a clear and accessible resource.

  2. To inform and educate the public regarding past, ongoing, and emerging issues so that the individuals responsible for governing Flagler County cannot misrepresent facts or disparage informed citizen participation.

This website is intended to fulfill certain informational and accountability functions that the government of Flagler County has failed or declined to undertake. While this platform holds no authority to act on behalf of any city or county, it seeks to ensure that residents are equipped with accurate information necessary to safeguard their interests in the face of actions—or failures to act—by unprepared, inadequately trained, or, in limited instances, ethically compromised city or county officials.
